There've been rumors that LINDSAY LOHAN'S younger sister ALI is working on a country music singing career.  CMT.com sniffed around for clues . . . but the most they could come up with is that she follows tons of country stars on social media.

Alan Jackson's big exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville is set to open August 29th.
Included in the exhibit — which celebrates his 25 years of making hits — are the guitar he played on the CMA Awards when he debuted "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)" just two months after the September 11th terrorist attacks; his first tricycle, childhood bike and scooter — evidence that his love of vehicles started early; and the water skis he used in the "Chattahoochee" music video.

Blake Shelton has the nation's top-selling country album with Based on a True Story, leaping from number-12 last week, according to the latest SoundScan figures. Blake unseats his wife, Miranda Lambert, whose Platinum had been at number-one since its release in early June.

Miranda Lambert and Danica Patrick singing together?
Danica admits that she can't sing, but if she could — and she weren't busy driving race cars — that's what she'd be doing. And if she could do a duet with anybody in country music, it would be Miranda. She tells USA Today, "She's the one that got me into music anyway, because I was in her music video two years ago for "Fastest Girl in Town."
After the shoot, Danica bought 'Ran's album. That's all it took for her to fall in love with country music.

Cory Barron –a 22-year-old man who was reported missing after Friday's Jason Aldean concert at Cleveland's Progressive Field — has been found dead at a landfill. A worker at the site found the body yesterday afternoon (Tuesday), Barron was wearing the same clothes he wore to the show and had a concert ticket in his wallet. It's speculated that he fell into a garbage chute that led to a dumpster.  Jason tweeted his sympathies, saying, "My sincere condolences go out to Cory Barron's family and friends. My heart is heavy for you all, and you are in my thoughts and prayers."
