Roger WWW Garrett

Roger WWW Garrett has been a part of 98.3 KORA off and on since 1986. Together with Roy Gene Munse, Roger hosted Bryan-College Station’s #1 rated ROGER & ROY Morning Show for a number of years.  Since the loss of Roy Gene, Roger & Jessy keep your mornings moving with his own version of the local news and loves to play games with the "Question of the Day" and “Instant Contestant,” where inflection is everything! Away from the Microphone, Roger is the proud father of four girls. Sundays you will find Roger preaching as the lay pastor of The First Presbyterian Church in Calvert, Texas.

Jessy with a "Y"

Born and reared in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, North of San Antonio, I grew up listening to country before I knew what country music was, mostly to the greats like, Don Williams and some good ole' Johnny Cash. My country heritage has stuck with me, and I can't get enough of it! I moved to College Station in 2009 to become a Fightin' Texas Aggie, majoring in Sports Management and graduating Class of 2013! I hope to continue down the path of Communications and Broadcasting after I graduate. I have an infinite love for God, sports and animals, in fact I have the sweetest 3 year old Beagle named "Tibee" who lives with me here in town. I love working on the Morning Show with Roger WWW Garrett.  He's a great mentor and an amazingly talented DJ.  When I'm not working, in school or listening to some Texas Country my hobbies take me to the big screen for a good movie and popcorn, outside to enjoy nature, or just to spend quality time with family and friends.

Brandie Alexander

“Howdy!  I’m Brandie Alexander – Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ’93. WHOOP!  I was born and bred in Brenham, Texas where I was raised on good old fashioned country music.  From early on my parents took me to the dance halls with them (that was allowed back in the day).  The experience gave me a great appreciation for steel guitar, fiddle and the classics.  It’s hard to beat a good two-step by Ray Price or Merle Haggard.  It’s because of my deep rooted love for country music that I do what I do.  There’s something to be said for waking up each morning and truly enjoying my job.  In fact, when you look at it like that it’s not really a job at all.  It’s a passion.
My other passion is my family.  I’m blessed to have a wonderful husband, Brian, and two great kiddos – Aiden and Emrie.  When I’m not at the radio station, I’m hanging out with them.  Our most recent love is spending time at my parents’ farm in Deanville riding four-wheelers, shooting guns and fishing. All skills that will come in handy when the zombies attack.”

Adam Drake

Howdy folks, Adam Drake here. Born and raised Texan who loves good ol’ country music! I spent a few years in Aggieland at some different places and just fell in love with the area and the people. After spending some radio time in Fort Worth, I hopped at the opportunity to come back here. I invite ya to come and hang out with me 3-7 each afternoon!

Most of my time outside of work is spent with my wife and new kiddo! He was born 11/11/11 and still has that fresh new baby smell on him! Interests also include movies and sports. If I weren’t in radio, my dream job would be manager for WWE. Kinda in the vein of Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart, I could run the Redneck Wrecking Crew!

Texas Nation w/Dr. Ron

Dr. Ron has worked in every aspect of Texas country music. From playing in bands to running sound for them to booking them. Concert promotion and production. Most might recognize him as dj /manger and booking agent at the legendary night club the Texas Hall of Fame for over a decade The transition to radio seemed obvious. In addition to hosting Texas Nation, he also serves as co-host for  Rusty Baker’s Texas & Beyond Radio Show.

Rowdy

I'm a good ol Brazos Valley boy, born and raised in right here in Bryan.   I married my high school sweetheart, Mrs. Rowdy (and I mean that in every sense of the word), in 1993.  I did a stint in the Marine Corps which moved us to the Carolinas.  My last year in the Marines I was deployed to Africa and was part of Operation Assured Response. I'm proud to be a Marine and proud to be an American! Ooh-Rah!

After my tour I settled in Snook, Texas. Me and Mrs. Rowdy have two amazing sons, Hayden Cooper and Nelson Ryder. I worked in the manufacturing industry for about 12 years before I finally listened to the voices in my head insisting I get into radio. I've been working for KORA for the past two years. I've worked behind the scenes at lots of Texas music festivals over the years and made it as far Lollapalooza in Chicago! I enjoy Texas music as well as the older country stuff like you hear on the Big Texas Jukebox. I like hangin' with the fam and coaching youth football and little league baseball.
