Today on the Roger WWW Garrett Morning Show With Jessy, We Talked about…..
A Canadian ticket company is suing TAYLOR SWIFT because they paid her $2.5 million in advance for a concert that was eventually canceled . . . and she never gave any of it back.  They're suing for $1.8 million, which is what they had to dole out in refunds.
On Reddit, fast food workers revealed some of the best secret or underrated menu items that people never order . . . but should.  Some highlights are the Onion Ring and French Fry Omelet at IHOP . . . a Taco Bell Cheesy Gordita Crunch made with a Doritos taco shell . . . bacon on a tuna sub at Subway . . . and a Cinnamon Melt with ice cream on top at McDonald's
Obsessively watching "Law & Order: SVU" and CSI marathons on the USA Network for weekends at a time is a GOOD THING.  A new study found that people who watch a lot of crime dramas are more likely to step up and help crime victims, especially sexual assault victims.  They're also more likely to try to INTERVENE and stop a crime they see in progress.
TIM MCGRAW'S song "Highway Don't Care" features TAYLOR SWIFT on vocals . . . and KEITH URBAN on guitar.  But the next time around Tim wants Keith to do some vocals.  Tim said, quote, "We still want to find one to sing together on.  It's just finding the right thing."
The Band Perry score their third number-one hit on the Mediabase chart this week with “Better Dig Two.” The song is the first track from their album Pioneer, which is due out April 2nd. Tim McGraw follows at number-two with “One of Those Nights.” Taylor Swift is number-three with “Begin Again.” Little Big Town’s “Tornado” and Jason Aldean’s “The Only Way I Know” round out the Top 5.
Yesterday, Burger King's official Twitter account, @burgerking, was hacked.  The hackers put up a McDonald's logo and started promoting McDonalds.  Which sounds like a nightmare . . . only it got them tens of thousands of new followers AND got people talking about Burger King again.  That doesn't happen very often.
Here's the newest made-up medical condition.  You're not LATE all the time because you're rude or inconsiderate . . . you have a LATENESS ADDICTION.  A new study found about 17% of people are chronically late . . . and they all share traits, like trouble with self-control, which shows that lateness might be ingrained in your personality.
The site Cracked.com has put out a list 5 Depressing Realities Behind Popular Reality TV Shows . . . and they include things like "No one from 'The Biggest Loser' can keep the weight off," and "Almost every restaurant on 'Kitchen Nightmares' goes out of business."
Today’s Free Advice was…
The 3 Most Commonly Misused Sayings
--check out the three MOST COMMON sayings that people misinterpret.
#1.)  "Carpe Diem."  It literally means "seize the day," which most people interpret to mean you should forget about the consequences and do what you want, because 'you only live once.'  (Which is what acronym "YOLO" means)
--But "carpe diem" ORIGINALLY meant something different.  It comes from a longer phrase that translates roughly as, quote, "seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the future."
--Now, that doesn't mean you shouldn't WORRY about the future.  It actually means the opposite:  You should work hard and take advantage of every minute you have, because life WON'T just fall into place.
#2.)  "Curiosity Killed the Cat."  You probably THINK it means that you shouldn't poke your nose where it doesn't belong, because you'll end up paying for it. --But it actually dates back to the 17th century.  And it wasn't originally "curiosity" that killed the cat, it was "care."  In "Much Ado About Nothing", Shakespeare wrote that, quote, "CARE killed the cat."
--But he didn't mean that CARING for the cat killed it.  The word "care" also meant to "worry."  So, "worry killed the cat."  Meaning that if you constantly stress out about stuff, you'll end up giving yourself a heart attack . . . which we now know is true.
#3.)  "A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss."  The mix-up is that most people think it's describing a GOOD thing.  Like, if you keep moving and don't settle down, you won't end up old and boring. --But in reality, it was supposed to describe why it's BAD to not settle down.  An old, longer version of it goes like this.  Quote, "As the rolling stone gathers no moss, so the roving heart gathers no affections."
--Which is just a fancy way of saying that if you don't settle down with someone, you'll end up alone and miserable the rest of your life.
AND Today’s Song of The Day, for This Date in History  was….
