In Country Music News: George Strait’s June 1st show at San Antonio’s Alamodome sold out in six minutes on Saturday… more than 72,000 tickets. The gig is King George’s 16th sell-out on the Cowboy Rides Away tour.
Happy 30th birthday to Carrie Underwood! Carrie celebrated what she describes as “the first anniversary” of her 29th birthday over the weekend with a cupcake tower from her favorite bakery Ivey Cakes. The Franklin, Tennessee-based bakery created the confections for her wedding in 2010.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are on the rocks -- and separated by 14,000 miles. Rumors began swirling a couple of weeks ago that Liam cheated with either January Jones or Emma Watson, depending on which tabloid you believe. The Melissa McCarthy comedy has now banked $116.5 million. Dead Man Down, a thriller starring Colin Farrell, opened in fourth with $5.4 million. Snitch was fifth with $5.1 million.

#1.) Not Using a Picture. According to one expert, you're seven times more likely to have your page viewed if you have a profile picture. Just keep it simple and go with a close-up of your face. And also make sure it's a RECENT photo. #2.) Not Adding a "Summary". When you edit your profile, it's near the top of the page. . And it's where you're supposed to describe the kind of job you're looking for. #3.) Not Listing Your Full Work Experience. Since it's online, you don't have to worry about fitting everything on one page. So it's okay to list all of your past jobs, along with things like volunteer work. #4.) Setting Up Your LinkedIn Page, Then Never Updating It. You probably update it with things like promotions or new contacts. But people who use LinkedIn EFFECTIVELY are the ones who stay active on it.
