By REGISTRATION as a PARTICIPANT in the EVENT broadcast on radio stations owned by Brazos Valley Communications, Ltd, PARTICIPANT acknowledges and agrees that he/she (a) is accepting personal responsibility for any injury or harm he/she incurs, personal or financial, arising out of or associated with the EVENT and (b) is releasing Brazos Valley Communications, Ltd, dba KORA, KTAM, KJXJ, KBXT, KAPN and all of its agents, contractors, servants, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, advertising partners and sponsors, attorneys, successors and assigns from any and all suits, actions, losses, damages, claims or liabilities associated with or arising out of the EVENT as provided for in this registration. PARTICIPANT verifies that he/she is at least 21 years of age, and agrees that he/she will be bound by any official rules of the CONTEST or EVENT or decisions of any judges or officials.
In consideration of the ADMISSION and PARTICIPATION in the EVENT offered by Brazos Valley Communications, Ltd and accepted by PARTICIPANT, PARTICIPANT or any person taking a claim, by, through or under PARTICIPANT does hereby release, acquit and forever discharge Brazos Valley Communications, Ltd and all persons, natural or corporate in privity with Brazos Valley Communications, Ltd, from any and all claims or causes of action whatsoever, at common law, statutory or otherwise, that PARTICIPANT has or might have, known or unknown, now existing or that might arise hereafter, directly or indirectly, which are in any way connected with the EVENT or the PARTICIPATION in the event (regardless of whether such claims or causes of action arise in whole or in part out of the negligence or strict liability of Brazos Valley Communications, Ltd), it being intended to release all claims which PARTICIPANT or any person taking a claim, by, through or under PARTICIPANT might have against those hereby released, whether heretofore asserted or not.
