Brandie Alexander here, Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '93!  This is the part where you say "No way!  You can't be that old."

Living in the moment brings you a sense of reverence for all of life's blessings. (Oprah Winfrey)

To say I live in the moment would be an understatement.  I have three children - two under the age of three.  A moment is all I have before someone starts crying or shouting for husband included.

I love music in general but my favorite is country especially the classics.  It's not unusual to see me singing and yes sometimes even dancing along in the studio.  Just be glad its radio because I have no rhythm.

There's something to be said for loving your job and I do.  Radio and country music have become my own personal crack.  It's an addiction for me.  I have to have it.

From what I understand admitting I have a problem is the first step.

Farewell to a Country Music Legend...

I just saw online that George Jones died.  As you may recall, he was hospitalized last week and forced to cancel a couple of shows because of fever and high blood pressure.  I pulled the following from a news story in Tennessee...

"George Jones, the peerless, hard-living country singer who recorded dozens of hits about good times and regrets and peaked with the heartbreaking classic "He Stopped Loving Her Today," has died. He was 81."

I my favorite George Jones songs are The Grand Tour, Walk Through This World with Me, and Who's Gonna Fill Their  Shoes.

Who's gonna fill their shoes indeed.  It's truly a sad day for country music.  Thoughts and prayers to the family of "the Possum."
