CHRIS YOUNG'S left hand is still healing from last month's kitchen knife accident.  He says, quote, "I'm good EXCEPT for about two or three different things . . . playing guitar, cutting up steak and making cuffs on a button-down shirt."  Chris is about six weeks away from picking up the guitar again. 
A guy attending Wisconsin's Country Fest scorched his foot on a barbecue grill, got struck by lightning and had a seizure . . . but returned from the hospital in time to meet RANDY HOUSER and see CARRIE UNDERWOOD perform.  Gage Stroening said, "I don't have the energy like I did when I showed up, but I had to see Carrie Underwood, and I'm not missing these shows”
KENNY CHESNEY'S next album, "The Big Revival", will be out September 23rd.  It features guest performances from Grace Potter, plus Alison Krauss and Dan Tyminksi.  Kenny also released the video to the first single, "American Kids".
You may have heard that THE DOOBIE BROTHERS invited several country artists to help them re-record some of their biggest hits for an upcoming album.  We have a video of one of the songs that'll be on the album.  It's the ZAC BROWN BAND and three members of the Doobies performing "Black Water" last weekend at Fenway Park in Boston. complete

Several country artists joined a Nashville rally of citizens hoping to keep a developer from tearing down RCA Studio A, which is where thousands of classic songs were recorded . . . from artists like Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Willie Nelson and Alan Jackson, to name a few.
