Facebook Crashes and Monday Facts

Facebook Went Down for 19 Minutes on Friday . . . So People Started Calling 911

When Facebook went down, people started calling 911 to ask the COPS for help.

The police department in La Crescenta, California even went on Twitter and wrote, quote, "Facebook is not a law enforcement issue, please don't call us about it being down, we don't know when [it] will be back up."

So yeah, don't call the cops if Facebook goes down.

On a related note . . . TheWire.com tried to estimate how much money Facebook lost by missing out on those 19 minutes of ad revenue.

Based on their average revenue from last quarter, Facebook makes about $22,543 per minute . . . so going down for 19 minutes cost them approximately $426,607.

DAVID NAIL'S parents couldn't afford Air Jordans, and that's why he collects them.  He says, quote, "As a kid, I used to go to Foot Locker and would hold them and say, 'Someday.'  So, over the course of my career, little goals that I've achieved, that's how I reward myself.  I've got a small collection."

Somebody drew a mustache on the face of MIRANDA LAMBERT that's on a billboard welcoming people to Lindale, Texas, which is where she grew up.  And they used a permanent marker, which made it impossible for workers to erase it. An investigation is underway and the perps could be looking at either a class-A or class-B misdemeanor, depending on the cost of replacing the sign. http://www.ketknbc.com/news/crimewatch/police-investigating-miranda-lambert-billboard-van

KEITH URBAN posted a statement on his website about the rape that happened at his show last month.  He wrote, "My team and I were horrified to learn of the events reported in Boston and our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected.  This type of behavior stands in stark contrast to the spirit of our shows."
