The Biggest Heart in Country Music

Luke Bryan and his family have opened their home to his 13-year-old nephew, Til, after the death of his brother-in-law.  Luke is also flying in Til's two older sisters to his home on a regular basis in an effort to keep this family together and help them cope with the loss.  What an amazing act of kindness.

It wasn't until this tragedy that I learned of the motivation behind Luke's hit song "Drink a Beer."  The song has deep personal meaning for him.  He recorded it in memory of his late sister (Til's mother) who died at home (the cause remains undetermined) and his brother, Chris, who was killed in a car accident in the mid-'90s.

Throughout it all, Luke remains positive saying he hopes that his family will be an inspriration to others who have had to deal with similar situations.  "If me telling my story moves people down a positive path of hope and getting up out of the bed and getting back going, then, you know, it's certainly worth telling."

I LOVE LUKE BRYAN!
