Three Reasons You’re in a Bad Mood This Morning

Parents Are Five Times More Likely Than Kids to Cry on the First Day of School

A new survey found PARENTS are FIVE TIMES more likely than kids to cry on the first day of school.
More than half of parents say they felt overwhelmingly emotional the first time they dropped their kids off at school . . . three-quarters say it felt like the end of an era . . . and 44% immediately considered having another baby.
Half of parents also say after their kid started school, things were never the same . . . they noticed a difference when they cuddled with their kid from that point on.

This Year's College Freshmen Were in Kindergarten During 9/11, and Have Never Known Life Without "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart"

Beloit College in Wisconsin just released their annual "Mindset List" . . . This year's freshmen were born in 1996, so here are some highlights about their mindset . . .

1.  They were just starting kindergarten when 9/11 happened.
2.  They've never known life without "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" . . . he took over the show in 1999, when they were three.
3.  They were never seduced into smoking by Joe Camel . . . he was gone by '97.
4.  They've never known life without the WNBA . . . it started in 1997.
5.  Bill Gates has been the richest man in the U.S. their entire lives.
6.  They've never experienced the AIDS crisis . . . the number of cases of Americans dying from AIDS has been going down their entire lives.
7.  They have never used Netscape as a web browser.
8.  They never had to hide the "Playboy" magazines thanks to a ton of Internet porn.

And Now, Three New Things to Worry About

1.  You can suffer from "sleep drunkenness."  A new study has found that about one in seven of us suffer from something called "sleep drunkenness" . . . that's where you wake up but you're SO confused you don't know what's going on. It can last for a few minutes, and in extreme cases, you could wind up hurting yourself . . . like if you're in a hotel room, don't know where you're going, and you fall.  (CNN)
2.  The G-spot doesn't exist.  There's always a debate whether women really have a G-SPOT or not . . . and the latest verdict is NO, it's just a myth.  Scientists in Italy analyzed 60 years of research and found there's no such thing. They say most women DO have a sensitive area up there, but it's very complex and varies from woman to woman . . . so there's really no way to quickly find it or treat it properly to get a woman aroused.  (The Local)
3.  Your tap water is lowering your IQ.  It sounds like a conspiracy theory that too much FLUORIDE in the water can lower people's IQs . . . but it just might be real. People in Dedham, Maine just learned they have extremely high levels of fluoride in their tap water . . . and a study out of Harvard in 2012 found that kids in areas with high fluoride in the water have IQs that are about seven points below average.

Three Reasons You're in a Bad Mood This Morning

1.  You're not getting enough fruits and vegetables.  A recent study found that people who eat seven servings of produce a day tend to be happier, less anxious, and less likely to be depressed.
2.  You're dehydrated.  A 2012 study found that even being a LITTLE dehydrated can put you in a bad mood.  In general, men should get at least 3.7 liters of water a day, and women should get 2.7.  And yes, things like coffee and juice DO count.
3.  You check Facebook too much.  A study this year found that if you're on there constantly, you start realizing it's a HUGE waste of time . . . which makes you feelParents Are Five Times More Likely Than Kids to Cry on the First Day of School
