Four Rules for Breaking Up That are Outdated

1. "Do it face to face." In a perfect world, yeah. But it's also hard, and you don't want that to keep you from doing it. So if you KNOW it's right to end things, a phone call is better than prolonging a dead relationship.
2. "Be honest about why." Honesty IS the best policy, but when you're breaking up with someone, you don't need to lay it ALL out there. So don't hurt their feelings if it's not necessary. A simple, "I don't see a future with us" is fine.
3. "Delete them from your life." The rule of thumb was to delete their number from your phone, and unfriend them on Facebook. But there are so many ways to connect now, it's just not that realistic anymore.
You're never going to be best friends, but you don't need to burn bridges. You can keep their number, as long as you don't drunk dial it. And stay friends on Facebook, as long as you're not stalking them.
4. "Make a big change." Lots of people think they need to go out more, get a crazy new haircut, move, whatever. And there's nothing wrong with a fresh start, but it might not be the best thing for your long-term happiness…especially getting a third boob.
So think about major changes carefully, and ask your friends what they think first.

"The Equalizer" (R) – Denzel Washington plays a retired special ops agent who's just trying to lead a quiet life and put his past behind him, until his friends become the victims of violent crimes.
One of them is Chloe Grace Moretz, a young prostitute who strikes up an innocent friendship with him at the diner where he spends his nights reading. When she doesn't show up one night, Denzel decides to get payback on the guys who put her in the hospital. And things escalate quickly after he finds out that the pimp and his thugs are all in the Russian mob.

"The Boxtrolls" (PG) – A stop-motion animated movie about an orphaned boy named Eggs, who's trying to save the creatures that raised him from an evil exterminator played by Ben Kingsley. "Game of Thrones" fans might recognize the kid's voice. The actor's real name is Isaac Hempstead Wright, but you'd know him as psychic crippled orphan Bran Stark.

70% of women with a plan B guy are currently in TOUCH with him.
10% of women say their plan B guy already confessed that he's always been in love with her. 20% say they're pretty sure their plan B guy would drop everything to be with her.
