Six Weird Things That Are Banned in Other Countries

1.  Lip-synching.  Turkmenistan banned it in 2005 to preserve their, quote, "true culture."  They also decided that opera and ballet are, quote, "unnecessary".

2.  Ponytails on men.  Iran banned them in 2010.  And they basically said guys can't have long hair in general.

3.  Running out of gas on the highway.  If you do it on the Autobahn in Germany, it's a $100 fine.  Then if you walk to GET gas, it's another $100 fine, because walking on the Autobahn is ALSO illegal.

4.  Dancing in clubs.  It's technically illegal in Tokyo after midnight.  They're talking about changing it before they host the 2020 Olympics though.

5.  Porn stars with small breasts.  In 2010, Australia made it illegal for porn stars to even LOOK younger than 18.  So if you're flat-chested and 50, you CAN be in a porno.  But probably not if you're flat-chested and younger than about 30.

6.  Movies about time travel.  In China, it's illegal to watch movies or TV shows about time travel, because according to the government, it "disrespects history."

Four Secrets to Never Getting Sick

Health.com has a list of four tips from people who never get sick

1.  Get as Much Fresh Air as Possible.  Stepping outside gives you a break from the germs circulating indoors.  Plus when you're outside, you're normally more active.  Just walking around leads to an increase in the white blood cells that kill off bacteria.

2.  Find Time to Relax.  Just being stressed out messes with your immune system.  Stress hormones inhibit your body from producing a certain type of protein molecules called cytokines.

They trigger your immune system to fight off different microbes that enter your bloodstream.  And without enough of them, white blood cells don't know where to go.

3.  Wash Your Hands More Often.  According to the Centers for Disease Control, hot water and soap are still better than any kind of hand sanitizer.  Ideally, you should soap up for about 20 seconds before you rinse.

And the kind of soap that comes in a pump is best.  Germs can actually GROW on a bar of soap.

4.  Get Enough Sleep.  A 2009 study by Carnegie Mellon found that getting less than seven hours of sleep almost TRIPLES your odds of catching a cold.

Six Crazy Things Luxury Hotel Guests Have Requested

A concierge at a luxury hotel in Miami says he gets crazy REQUESTS from guests ALL THE TIME.  Here are six of the weirdest ones he's heard.

1.  A professionally trained, camera-ready MONKEY.  It was for a film shoot, and they needed a dancing monkey, because the one they booked didn't show up.

2.  A yoga instructor at 3:00 A.M.  He says he's gotten this one multiple times, and it's usually for models who have an early photo shoot.

3.  Prescription sleeping pills, like Ambien.  Apparently they get that one CONSTANTLY.  And a lot of people request Xanax too.

4.  Thousands of dollars worth of Kentucky Fried Chicken.  He won't say who it was, but a pop star once gave him $5,000 in cash to go to three different KFC's, and buy as much chicken as he could.

5.  50 cases of Pabst Blue Ribbon.  It was for a rock star who was throwing a party in his room.

6.  Three Lamborghinis to use for DRAG RACING.  Another pop star asked for that one.  And again, we don't know who it was . . . but Justin Bieber was in Miami when he got arrested for drag racing back in January.

And yes, he was in a Lamborghini.  The GPS eventually showed that he WASN'T drag racing through.

Seven Scientific Facts About Boobs

Salon.com put together a list of seven supposedly "scientific" facts

1.  The amount of money you have dictates the kind of boobs you like.  If you're poor, you want busty cleavage.  But if you're rich, you like them small.  Doctors think a hefty rack signals "fat reserves," appeals to guys with meager incomes.

2.  Hungry men also like an ample chest.  But if you're full, you want a smaller chest.  So your boob preference can actually fluctuate over the course of a meal.

3.  If you don't want kids, you ALSO don't want a woman with huge cans.  You want to steer clear of anything that reminds you of breastfeeding or fertility.  But if you're into big breasts, it's probably because you want to reproduce.

4.  Sexist men prefer humongous boobs.  Studies show that the size of a guy's sexism roughly equates to his preference in breast size.  And men who like giant breasts are the most hostile toward women.

5.  Men who like small breasts want a submissive woman.  Scientists claim men find flat-chested women, quote, "less threatening."

6.  Women with implants are three times more likely to KILL themselves than other people.  But not until 10 years after they've had the surgery.  No one knows why, but it could be that women who want implants in the first place are prone to suicide.

7.  Bras actually cause breasts to sag.  Studies show that the restrictive material in bras prevents muscle development . . . so breasts start to DROOP.
