Four Things You're Doing Wrong in the Shower

You've probably heard this, but you shouldn't wash your hair every day.  Because your scalp overcompensates by producing too much oil, and your hair ends up looking oily ALL the time.  So you should really only wash it every other day . . . or even every THREE days.  Here are four more things you might be doing wrong in the shower.

1.  You're not replacing your loofah.  You should buy a new one once a month.  And you should only use a washcloth three or four times before you toss it in the laundry.

2.  You're exfoliating every day.  Over-scrubbing actually makes your skin produce MORE oil, which traps more dirt and bacteria.  So you should only use exfoliating soap once or twice a week.

3.  You're brushing your teeth.  Most people who brush in the shower don't brush LONG enough, because they're too busy multitasking.  You're supposed to brush for a full two minutes.

4.  You're using super-hot water.  It can dry out your skin, so you should take WARM showers, not hot ones.

5. You’re taking SELFIES. Unless you have a sports water resistant camera…well, you shouldn’t be doing that no matter what…
