A new survey found the average person only spends 41 minutes a day eating all their meals.  That breaks down to eight minutes for breakfast . . . 13 minutes and 45 seconds for lunch . . . and 19 minutes and 27 seconds for dinner.

Here are a few random facts for you.  Americans make 850 million visits to museums a year . . . more than our visits to major sporting events and amusement parks combined.  "Tron" wasn't nominated for the Oscar for visual effects in 1982 . . . because the Academy felt the producers CHEATED by using computers.  And The Who have never had a Top 10 hit in America…. ALSO…There's a difference between a hobo, a tramp, and a bum.  A hobo travels around looking for work . . . a tramp only works when he has to . . . and bums don't work at all.The red juice you see in a package of meat at the grocery store isn't blood . . . pretty much all the blood is removed during processing.  It's a mixture of water and a protein called myoglobin.


 

A Guy Falls 600 Feet Down a Mountain, and Lands Next to a Rescue Crew

28-year-old DAVID SPAIN in England fell 600 feet down the side of a mountain on Sunday, and dislocated his shoulder and hurt his leg.  The weather was freezing and he could have died from exposure….But he survived because he happened to land next to a RESCUE CREW, which was in the middle of training how to save someone stuck on the side of a mountain.


 

Lady Gaga Will Star on the Next Season of "American Horror Story"

LADY GAGA will star on the fifth season of "American Horror Story", which is titled "American Horror Story: Hotel".  It's not clear how big her role is, but given the fanfare, we're assuming she'll be more than just a minor character.


 

90% of Women Are Unhappy With at Least One Body Part . . . Usually Their Stomach

A new survey found 90% of women between 18 and 24 are unhappy with at least one body part . . . and 85% of women over 55 are unhappy with something about their bodies.  The most common body part women hate is their stomach . . . and that's consistent across all ages, races, and ethnicities.


 

A list of nine celebrities who became grandparents by age 45 includes:  Kid Rock, "Mama June" Shannon, Sarah Palin, Priscilla Presley, and Whoopi Goldberg, who's now a great-grandmother at age 59.

MADONNA took a bad fall last night during her performance at the BRIT awards in London…a backup dancer yanked her cape, and it was supposed to come loose, but instead it dragged Madonna down three stairs. She was back up to finish the song after a few moments.

Here's Why There Will Be No Monkeys on Stage with Rascal Flatts in Vegas

You will NOT see any MONKEYS on stage with RASCAL FLATTS during their residency at the Hard Rock in Vegas.

But don't go thinking they have a prejudice against primates.  The hate is because one of them put a serious hurtin' on GARY LEVOX during a video shoot.


He tells "People", quote, "We shot the 'Why Wait' video [in Vegas] and it was a lot of fun, but that monkey bit the fire out of me and I still have the scars to prove it.  Monkeys are banned for life." (Here's the "Why Wait" video.)

RANDY HOUSER says fame has NOT gone to LUKE BRYAN's head.  Quote, "When I see his show, I see a guy I knew 12, 13 years ago.  I'm real proud of the fact that he's still that same dude he was when we were just hanging out around Nashville."

JASON ALDEAN is thinking the whole awards thing is just a crapshoot.  He says, "Obviously, when you get nominated for awards, it's a huge honor and a big pat on the back.  [But] the right people don't always get nominated.  The right people don't always win.  That's sort of the way it is."
 



 

COUNTRY MUSIC EXTRAS

WYNONNA and the PETE SCOBELL BAND have released a song on iTunes called "Hearts I Leave Behind" . . . and they're donating proceeds to a charity inspired by "American Sniper" CHRIS KYLE.  It's called the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and it benefits service members, first responders, and their families. 


 

SHANIA TWAIN has released a video of her performing "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!".  It's from her TV special "Still the One:  Live From Vegas", which airs Saturday on ABC.  (The CD/DVD package will be out Tuesday.)

BLACKHAWK has donated another $20,000 for cancer research.  It's in honor of founding member VAN STEPHENSON who lost his battle with melanoma skin cancer in 2001.  They've raised a total of $100,000 since 2006.  (Country Weekly)
