ABC is putting together a 3 hour television special remake of 1987’s “Dirty Dancing”. Debra Messing has just signed on to play Marjorie Houseman, the mother to Frances “Baby” Houseman, which will be played by Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, Scream Queens). No word yet on who will be trying to fill Patrick Swayze’s shoes in the Johnny role.
