Which Song Fits the Post-Valentine You?

The most romantic day of 2016 is now behind us.
This day tends to go in many different directions for a lot of us. Luckily, there’s a country song to fit everyone. Wondering what song you need to be singing along to post-Valentine’s? I’ve got you covered..

1. You’ve got a new crush..

..You feel like a teenager, and had a great first date with your new love interest.
Grab your hairbrush, jump on your bed, and sing Kelsea Ballerini’s ‘Dibs’ to keep the butterflies in your stomach fluttering!

2. You’re in LOVE!..

..Or getting there. You have a blast with your significant other, and this was just another excuse to have another fun-filled day with that one person who makes you smile just by randomly thinking of them.
Turn up ‘Drunk on your Love’ by Brett Eldredge and milk this love-hangover for all it’s worth!

3. You’ve had the same Valentine for 3, 5, 12, or more years!..

..And you wouldn’t have it any other way! You’ve got your V-day traditions down, you’ve memorized one another’s favorite treats, and you don’t even feel the need to tell social media that you love each other. It is a given.
Pour your glass of wine, snuggle up to the love of your life, and enjoy Thomas Rhett’s ‘Die a Happy Man’ in the background. Thomas will take the words right out of your mouth.

Let’s not forget about the Singles Awareness Day side of things.

4. Your significant other messed up… BIG TIME.

..And knows better.
There’s no going back from this mistake, and you went ahead and took this day of love as a great chance to get revenge. Your former Valentine is singing a song that sounds pretty similar to ‘Nobody to Blame’ by Chris Stapleton. It is music to your ears.

5. You saw “the one that got away.”

..We’ve all been there. Good news, there’s plenty of ways to get over it!
Grab a few bags of that discount Valentine’s Day candy, and turn on ‘Break up in a Small Town’ by Sam Hunt. Better yet, turn of the volume in this video and just look at Sam Hunt. He’s better than that bag of chocolate you’re holding.

6. You’re single, happy, and didn’t give a $#*! about this lovey-dovey holiday.

..You actually slept in because you had a fantastic night out, watched your favorite movie (or entire Netflix season), ordered a pizza you didn’t have to share, laid out working on your tan, and enjoyed every minute of it!
You’ll appreciate Dierks Bentley’s ‘Somewhere on a Beach.’

No matter your post Valentine 2016 theme song, there’s some good news for everyone. You’ve got a whole year until you have to see all of those gushy “look what I got for Valentine’s Day” posts on social media again. Phew!
