Kelsea Ballerini‘s new single, “Yeah Boy,” is a fun and flirty song and its new video doesn’t disappoint. She wanted the video to mimic her energetic performances on tour with bright lights, colors, and outfits. Unlike most country videos, she also includes dancers, channeling some TRL-era pop star vibes.
In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Kelsea said, “I definitely love pushing boundaries and I’ve always loved strong female artists in every genre, and Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson are some of my favorites. I probably picked up some of their performance tendencies that I put in my live show and in this video.”
