The Long Crawl(ers) – Help support Grayson as he fights for wildlife preservation

brazos-news-image-grayson

The Brinkmeyer family is fighting for a great cause that cannot be ignored or understated: wildlife preservation.

Grayson Brinkmeyer is competing in Colossal’s Jr. Ranger competition, where he is in the top one per cent. It’s a nationwide campaign that raises funds and awareness for the National Wildlife Foundation. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to protecting America’s wildlife and conservation areas for generations upon generations. It’s a battle to restore habitats, combat the effects of climate change, and inspire people to care for nature.

He is a young entrepreneur and small business owner. He began building Scales, Tails, and Crawlers reptile education business when he was 11, though his passion for animals and reptiles goes back to when he was very little. Grayson would watch the Kratt Brothers on PBS and follow inspirational leaders like the Irwin Family and Jeff Corwin. Now, he’s gathering funds for wildlife conservation. Becoming the next Jr. Ranger Rick would mean the world to him – a world he intends to preserve.

If Grayson wins, he will also win $20,000 to help him grow his business, allowing him to include local reptile rescue and continue spreading the word on causes like the National Wildlife Federation. His overall goal? Inspire young kids in the community to get involved locally – and to see you’re never too young to make an impact in a world that needs it.
