Dr. Ron spent many years managing/booking talent at the legendary The Texas Hall of Fame in Bryan, Texas. Texas HOF was a cavernous honky-tonk where live music and gregarious crowds of students and ranchers did some fancy boot-scooting to live music that covered the spectrum of country all the to Western. Willie Nelson, Pat Green, and other star of the prairie circuit regularly performed in this vast concrete hall, where $1.50 longecks were liberally doled out along with many good times.
