The Ten Things You're Most Likely to Argue About in the Car

A recent survey found that the place couples are most likely to argue is the CAR.  So a new poll asked for the thing that's most likely to START that argument.  And yes, number one is getting lost.  Here are the top ten.

1.  Getting lost.
2.  Speeding.
3.  Not asking for directions.
4.  Dealing with loud kids in the backseat.
5.  The person behind the wheel yelling at other drivers.
6.  The temperature.
7.  Where to stop for food.
8.  The music you want to listen to.
9.  What you're talking about, because you want to change the subject.
10.  Driving too slowly.

KEITH URBAN was all about hometown pride when he and his fellow judges Harry Connick Junior and Jennifer Lopez were in Nashville for the American Idol auditions. Keith was full of suggestions about where to go while they were in town.

TAYLOR SWIFT left another cryptic clue on Twitter and Instagram (@taylorswift). This time, it's a picture of a kitten, some boxes and a watercolor drawing of the New York skyline taken on her cell phone at 5:00.  Last week she left her first clue — a picture of her pressing an elevator button for the 18th floor.

LEE BRICE says it took him two years to settle on the track listing of "I Don't Dance", which is out September 9th. “If you're talking about 16 songs, there are a lot of combinations.”

It's not every day you hear a band from Finland perform a bluegrass version of the AC/DC classic "Thunderstruck".  Even better, the group's name is Steve 'N' Seagulls.  I already love them.

A Six-Year-Old Now Knows More About Technology Than You Do

A new study has confirmed what you knew deep down . . . the average six-year-old now knows MORE about technology than the average 45-year-old.

Overall, 14 and 15-year-olds are the most confident about new technology . . . understanding what it does, why you need it, and how to set it up.

And that makes sense . . . they were born around the year 2000, so they don't really remember a world before iPhones, DVRs, and high speed Internet.

The study also found the average adult between 18 and 45 knows slightly more than a six-year-old . . . but less than a teenager.

Five Ways to Be Less Annoying When You Charge Your Phone at a Bar

1.  Don't argue if they say no.  Sometimes bartenders aren't ALLOWED to do it, just in case something happens and it breaks.

2.  If they say yes, don't expect them to babysit it for you.  Even if they ARE allowed, it's still not their responsibility to make sure nothing happens to it.  So just keep in mind that if it gets spilled on or someone steals it, that's on you.

3.  Put it in airplane mode.  It'll charge faster with the Wi-Fi off.  Or at least put it on silent, so they don't have to deal with it ringing.

4.  Don't keep asking to check it.  They'll be busy enough making drinks.  So they can't just hand it to you every ten minutes, and then plug it back in again.  (A bartender friend told us this would actually be the MOST annoying thing on the list.)

5.  Tip them for it.  If they took the time to make you a DRINK, you'd tip them.  So taking the time to charge your phone shouldn't be any different.  It doesn't have to be a lot.  An extra buck or two is fine.
